Our Products
Most of the products we sell are new. To bring
you everyday low prices, we often buy and resell overstock and
refurbished products from wholesalers, suppliers, and national retail
chains. If you would like to know if an item is refurbished or
overstock, please inquire before you buy. Overstock and refurbished
products are often shipped directly from our suppliers to save on
shipping costs. Most refurbished products will be marked with a (R)
included in the model number or will state so under the item condition.
Our factory reconditioned/refurbished products will sometimes have
cosmetic blemishes and/or scratches on them. However, this will not
effect the functioning of the product. We make every effort to update
products on our website as frequently as possible. This is a quantity
limited website. We are not responsible for an item being out of stock
when ordered by you the consumer.
Apple iPod Repair Services
iTech Electronics is proud to offer iPod repair services at the lowest prices through the Austin iPod Repair Store.
We stock new and used Apple iPod replacement parts at our Austin
location. New replacement parts include a 90-day warranty, while refurb
parts are backed by a 60-day warranty.
Shipping: Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from our store. iTech Electronics is not responsible for damage done to your iPod
during shipment. Customers are urged to add insurance when shipping to
our store.
Warranty: Our warranty only covers the malfunction of part(s)
replaced by us. Any damaged caused by the customer other than
malfunction of the replaced part(s) will not be covered under our
warranty. We are not responsible for malfunction of any of your iPod's
other components and/or parts.
Repair Turn-around Time: With the increased amount of local iPod repairs, the turn-around time has increased to (3) business days to ensure quality work.
Return Policy
We guarantee
against manufacturers' defects for 15 days from the date product was
received by customer on all products. Products with Manufacturer
Warranties which exceed 15 days, may be returned directly to the
manufacturer according to their instructions. All returns/exchanges
must be made within 15 days of receipt of the merchandise. Merchandise
must be returned in original factory condition, and must include all
original packaging materials, original inner packing, warranty cards,
manuals, accessories, and
must be in resaleable condition. Merchandise, merchandise packaging,
and inner packing must bear no markings or be otherwise defaced or
damaged. No credit will be given for items that do not meet these
requirements.
Items bought online may be returned only with prior authorization. Please contact the Returns Department at returns@streetlightstore.com
for return instructions before returning merchandise. Local customers
may return items to our Austin lcoation.
All shipping and
handling fees are non-refundable with an exception where iTech Electronics has made an error by shipping an incorrect item to
the customer. In this case, consumer must contact iTech Electronics
to obtain a return label or request a merchandise pick up. Once item is
returned back to us a correct replacement unit will be shipped out or
store credit issued for the full amount of the order if the correct
unit is unavailable. iTech Electronics must be informed of the
receipt of incorrect merchandise within a 3 business days of the
delivery.
Return product shipping costs is the responsibility of the customer.
Returns will not be accepted after 15 days. The customer has 7 days to
return items after a return authorization is granted. There are no
returns on catalogs or imprinted items.
Defective Items: A customer must return merchandise at their
expense within 15 days from the date of delivery with prior Return
Merchandise Authorization number. If an exchange is not requested at
the issuing time of the RMA and automatic store credit will be applied
once merchandise is returned back to the warehouse. Refunds may take 3
- 5 business days to post back to the credit card. DOA cell phones: For
the return of any Dead On Arrival cell phone iTech Electronics must
be notified within 3 business days of the receipt of the merchandise.
This type of return may come back only for exchange without exception.
Unwanted Returns: Unwanted product returns must have a Return
Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#). Merchandise must be in the
unused condition only.
Refused Delivery: Returns falling under this category will be
treated as “Unwanted Returns.” The customer will also be responsible
for the return shipping cost incurred by the action of refusing the
delivery. Consequently, a store credit or full refund will be issued
less shipping and handling fees both ways.
Electronics Replacement Part and Components: Electronic repair parts and components are non-refundable as they have already been used by the customer and are only available for exchange. New parts include a 90-day warranty, while refurbished parts come with a 60-day warranty. Labor charged for repairing electronics are non-refundable. Customers who have purchased one of our repair services may return their electronic devices to us if any purchased part(s) malfunction during during the warranty period as stated above.
Important Notice:
Without exception, no item purchased online may be
returned without prior authorization in the form of an RMA number
provided by customer service at iTech Electronics. In the case of a
return without prior authorization from The Streetlight Store: the item
in question will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
Customer Satisfaction
We at iTech Electronics believe in running a fair and
non-discriminatory business. In case of a dispute, please immediately
contact Customer Care to resolve any issues. We will handle each case
in a professional matter, and ensure the customer is treated with
respect. We are an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau
(BBB). Please give us the opportunity with a reasonable amount of time
to resolve any issues before contacting the BBB. Please read and
understand our store policies before purchasing from us. This will
lessen the chance of any misunderstanding by You the customer. Our
conditions of use, including return and shipping policies have been
reviewed by the BBB, and have been found to be acceptable for our
nature of business. Any updates we do to our store policies will be
updated on this page and accessible to all our customers. We will
notify the BBB on any major changes.
Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited Business
We participate in the BBB MIP Program, a customer assistance program of
the Better Business Bureau. We will cooperate with BBB efforts to
assist in the resolution of any dispute that may arise under this
contract. Upon request, we will agree to mutually binding arbitration
of certain unresolved disputes. Any administrative fees for arbitration
will be paid by us. There are limits as to the claims that can be
arbitrated -- call the BBB serving Central and South Central Texas at

Payment Methods:
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, and American Express using Authorize.net, and Google Checkout. Google Checkout is similar to Paypal in the sense of purchasing products online without disclosing credit card information to merchants. This service requires you to create an account with Google. We accept payment by mail with money order or check.
